[PLUG] Chess, Anyone?

I know some of you thinkers must enjoy a game of chess.  Having
installed xscreensaver recently, I was just watching the 3D chess game
and thinking, wow, that looks really nice:  there should be a playable
version of this.

Deja vu!  I had the same thought last time I installed xscreensaver, but
I couldn't find anything that looks as nice as that damned screen saver.
 Anyone know one?  I'd like player-vs-player mode, game saves, and mouse
rotation of the board, ideally.
