[PLUG] what is the point of PGP-signed emails?

For normal day to day emails, there's probably not too much of a
benefit using PGP signatures (ie. general banter or from a grandmother
to her daughter). I guess it could be important to use if decisions
were being made to prove identity (ie. voting over something through
email), or if people often send code to be committed to CVS. PGP
encryption, on the other hand, is very useful. Cheers,

Daniel
