: So just where are all these people supposed to live? If everyone lives
: in the city, then you have a more crowded city. The city isn't designed
: to hold all the people that live in the 'burbs.

You just don't get it, do you?!?
You think people should be allowed to have choices like that?
Well, maybe that was OK in some other era, when if you didn't like your
situation, you were free to WALK along the big Blue River, cross over to the
Nothe Platte, then try to make it over South Pass, Wyo, up to Pocatello, ID,
(be sure to stop at Soda Springs because they didn't have Coca Cola in the
day!) then cross the interminally boring Snake River canyon, and almost
finally, NOT lose everything you brought with you trundling down Emmigrant
Pass - and finally doing your best down the Columbia river rapids.

No. Think Central Planning, Central Planning, Central Planning. People need to
live and work together, as tightly clustered as possible. That every one
person's ineptitude or misery becomes a community event, you see. Also,
everyone is supposed to live in the same housing density, so we all have the
same sorts of experiences growing up. Everyone is supposed to participate in
public community life, and everone must work to support public projects such
as public trans, the library, and public radio. These are a mandatory orders
from your benevolent People's Government. If you go off on your own, we will
have to send some friends over to check up on you, because that's anti-social
and dangerous to public policy, and in any case serving and living amongst
one's People is a pleasure to any correct-thinking Citizen. You may need
re-education, or else you might even be charged as an Enemy of the People
under Article 58! (http://www.cyberussr.com/rus/uk58-e.html)
