There is a significant checklist for troubleshooting H323
connections. For Netmeeting, I think the best you can do by default
is get the one behind the Linux firewall to place a call, but not
receive unsolicited incoming calls ( And at that, AFAICR you have to
open a large range of ports, because they are negotiated by the H323
clients semi-randomly). To make it work otherwise, there are some
H323 proxy modules you can install that will make two way work with
one box inside the firewall. If you want more, you need to install a
video gatekeeper on the firewall, of which there are several free
ones available.
