It didn't seem particularly redhat-ized when I was working with it on a
friend's computer yesterday.... although there is always a chance he
dropped the RPM version in favor of just downloading it from the SM
webpage (as I would suggest you do, if you have problems).
There was a configure script in the main squirrelmail directory that
handled most of the setup.
It authenticates with your main system as far as I know, so if you want
to add users, just add them to your system and you should be good to go.
