This statement is simply not true. You'll have to attend
the presentation to find out why.

There's already over 1.7 million second level domains registered
in the inclusive (alternate) name space and roughly 20 percent of
the people on the Internet, worldwide, have access to them. This
is not my statistic, so it could be inaccurate.

I think you mean ICANN and the IETF and their working groups.
IANA? You're out of date by a few years.

They are being created only when ICANN can find people who
are willing to buy them for a few million dollars. Corrupt
is an understatement.
