Derek Lee suggested I try the green output. It worked I can play a CD.
I used mixer, aumix, and found that only the volume and left/right had
an effect(still on green, which we believe to be the speaker out).
Today I tried cat something.au > /dev/audio which worked on green but
not blue.
I then tried Flash and got this:
Feb 14 12:42:29 apollo modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
sound-slot-1
Feb 14 12:42:29 apollo modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
sound-service-1-0
Feb 14 12:42:29 apollo modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
sound-slot-1
Feb 14 12:42:29 apollo modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
sound-service-1-0
My modules.conf looks like:
alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
alias eth0 sis900
alias usb-controller usb-ohci
alias sound-slot-0 i810_audio
post-install sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -L
>/dev/null 2>&1 || :
pre-remove sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -S
>/dev/null 2>&1 || :
