[PLUG] Industrial end user apps for linux

  Does anyone here know of any industrial applications for linux? I am
interested in learning if there is a truck scale application available.

  On the same topic, do you know of any vendors writing such industrial
applications for linux? In addition to truck scales (integrated with trip
tickets, invoicing and a full accounting package), I'd be interested in pump
and conveyor control/rate software.

  I read quite a bit about office automation applications, but what about
the back end of heavy (or light, for that matter) industry? As the economy
remains down there's tremendous potential for customers looking to cut
costs by going to an all-open-source solution.
