[PLUG] linux-wlan-ng and differently configured networks

Hi all,

Got an interesting one. I just got a new Thinkpad R31 running Gentoo 1.4rc1.

The R31 has build in 802.11b using the Prism 2.5 chipset. On install the
wireless worked right off using the Orinoco drivers, but there were some
serious issues, so I build the linux-wlan-ng stuff. It's configuration is far
nicer than the last linux-wlan-ng stuff I used, so i'm wondering if it is
possible to do something I've never tried before...

My wireless net at home is different from my wireless net at the office. We
run WEP at work, the SSID is different etc. It's simple to manually change
wlan.conf to look at the wireless options for the office or home, but it's
kind of annoying too.

What I'd like to do is have the wlan0 device look at the SSID of the network
that it finds and configure itself automagically for that network. Is this
possible?

Thanks.
