Never forget it. We are not just some text you can have a one-upmanship
gitcha-gotcha game with.

Great. And let it be known that I am explicitly NOT standing behind
David sticking my tounge out at those young chest thumping attackers.
I'm standing beside him and a little forward, with my arms crossed and
eyebrows raised, codefending the honor and reputation of both myself and
this group.

The google search that turned up that document undoubtedly turned up
quite a lot more than that. What else was there, folks?

I hereby second David's motion to call a moratorium on personal
attacks.

Neither these lists nor the #orlug channel are there for that sort of
off topic, childish, unprofessional, and crass discussion... Most of us
believe these attacks are motivated out of jealously. Grow up.

So who showed up over the last year or two and changed all that? Shall
we research that in the archives?

Yes, please. I am very interested in hearing more constructive remarks
concerning the new website.

I should write up a good article concerning the "not invented here
syndrome" and publish it. Perhaps I'll use "Embracing Insanity" as one
of my references? There also was a good article on jealously motivated
personal attacks, "hazing" and unsportsmanlike conduct, etc.
somewhere... If not, it should be written up somewhere, shouldn't it?

Hope to see the list traffic mature and get back on topic now. G'night
folks. Take care.
