[PLUG] Is PHP a good intro programming language?

Hey Eric,
Have you thought about starting with some simple (and up) shell or Perl 
scripting just to see if programming would stick to them? It would likely 
save you some time and money if it turned out to not be what they thought it 
was.

Just a suggestion.
