[PLUG] What terminal I'm on in LTSP...

The gnome system info applet determines correctly what terminal I'm on...
I'm wondering if sys_info is a command I can use in the bash
scripts I've been writing to figure out which terminal an
ordinary user is on in order to make sure that user can only
change that terminal's boot option?

I've attached it's output.
