Alex,
Check the Linux World and Linux Journal Web sites. I believe it was on one
or the other where I read a very comprehensive critique of .NET that found
not even Microsoft understood what it was supposed to be or do (based on
conflicting statements they've issued). It is also a collection of failed or
obsolete technology (according to the review) that did not work as
individual pieces so they've all been thrown together in the hope that some
magic synergy would make a silk purse from a sow's ear.
I'm sure google will turn something up.
