[PLUG] Serial ATA & RH 9 ?

My wife is trying to install RH 9 on an Intel m/b (875P chipset) w/on-board 
serial ATA southbridge controller iCH5.

The installer doesn't find the drive.  Any magic kernel params to pass to 
make it work, or is she stuck with installing an ide drive and patching a 
kernel once the os in running?

Hoping someone has the answer off the top of their head.  Gonna do more 
googling myself.
