    Look at the LVM stuff:

    Red Hat includes all the LVM functionality, so you won't have to
    rebuild a kernel or anything. Sadly, however, you'll have to backup
    your disk data, do some LVM hand waving, reformat your drives, and
    then restore your data.
    
    It works pretty well, however. I've got an 860GB LVM partition
    (formatted with XFS) at work, and it works pretty well for both NFS
    mounts and Samba shares.
