Rich Shepard busted out the keyboard and typed:

If you read the text before you type 'setup', you will see instructions to
load the pcmcia drivers before you start setup.  This will help the setup
find the NIC when you do the network setup. :-)  Pop your card in and type
the commands to load PCMCIA, then start setup.
