No it's not, but yes, you can. :)

The PS1 part is an environment variable, not a command. The command used to 
"install" environment variables is "set" or "export". Use "man set" or "man 
export" for more information on those two.

The "xxxxxx" part is the value you are placing in the PS1 environment 
variable.
