[PLUG] (no subject)

  I'm looking for some assistance in getting my cell phone (Kyocera
QCP-6035) working as a modem with my notebook computer. Conceptually, I can
tie the two together with a serial card in the notebook and the adapter cord
for the Kyocera. But, I cannot work out the configuration string or whatever
else is preventing me from succesfully connecting to my shell account at my
ISP. The connection is made, then the far side immediately hangs up.

  We have a bunch of TelCo- and wireless-aware folks here so I'm hoping that
I can get some assistance so this works.
