[PLUG] ssh and root

Michael,
I get that same message when I try to run any program that is an
X program from a shell as root when I'm a different user. What is
happening (I think) is that VIM or whatever program is trying to bind to
a root session of X. I'm not quite sure how to over come that.... but I
think that is what is going on.
Thank you,
Eric Brockman

Subject: [PLUG] ssh and root
This is a tough one for me to grasp. I've already given up trying to
get X to run over ssh but now I can't use vim as root, only as me. I
get this message:
X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server
shutdown).
xhost + does not work.
