[PLUG] Remote lpr printer

I'm having problems with a remote lpr printer. The first print job gets
stuck in the queue. The second job initiates the print-out of the first
job. But only the first page. And this goes on. The printer works fine
from a Windows box through Samba. 

Any ideas? If not I'll turn to cups as suggested by Paul Heinlein.
