Basically I get that you just think Linux is for a few geeky people
and an end user ease of use product is not for the masses.  Okay. 
That is fine.

I still see many more options that can be used.  I work in an
environment that has started to use it.  And to develop software for
it.  Yes, I'll find more ways and perhaps develop some of these ideas.
I have even thought to propose some to people that could help.

You can stay in the 'Free World' as you like.  And just b/c one
company fails VA/Linux does not mean that it didn't work.  You would
need to look at their entire business plan and marketing to truely
understand why it didn't work.  There are so many factors.  Time,
Money, Contacts, Market....

We just disagree on where we would like a competitive OS to exist,
that is all.  No biggie.  I just want the tools I use to be there.  I
now see many more coming about and that is great.  But still not all. 
Perhaps close enough for me to try all development there.
