How will you decide what is "accomplished"? Who is "you"? Does
everyone who shows up get to vote?

Everyone I talk to about this issue says, "geez, are they such losers
that they can't make their _own_ reputation instead of sponging off
the work of others".

Once again, for the umpteenth time, no one in PLUG particularly cares
that you have a _different_ group. Great! Have your different group!
Have "fun" [1]! The only issue is the fact that you chose a confusing
name. I know it's confusing because every newbie I talk to, I warn
that there are two groups, one different from PLUG that calls itself
the Portland Linux User Group. They are uniformily amazed. Even your
own members chortle about it as if it's a joke. What more evidence do
you need?

[1] Can you explain what you mean by "fun"? I have fun at PLUG
meetings. I mean, do you play "Twister" or something? At least
at PLUG meetings, babes with tongue studs show up. Do babes with
tongue studs show up at PDXLUG meetings?

Or is it a case of younger folks feeling excluded from the Lucky
Lab social hour? I have _never_ heard that expressed, but it is
plausible. Maybe a better name would be Junior PLUG or PLUG, Jr.?
