Everybody gave you a reasonable solution, though!  Being a part of a
community doesn't mean you have to read everything that arrives, or
agree with it.

Constructive criticisim was offered.  You rejected the proposed
solution as "overkill," when in reality, it's putting all the control
and responsibility on yourself to cut things down to what you consider
on-topic.

that there is a reasonable solution that you yourself control, but
apparently it's not good enough for you.
