Good. It's about time Microsoft felt some market
pressure. If they'd implement a respectable
environment to run the proprietary software they want
to write under Linux, they could maintain an adequate
audience. Especially if they work on their quality
for once and abandon anti open source attitudes.
Some companies just need to get with the twenty
first century already ;-)

Their biggest mistake is forcing people into high cost
upgrades that don't see a need for them. They've made
obsolete an awfully large number or Windows Certified
people well before that needed to happen.

I don't have much sympathy for the company considering
it hasn't tried to find out if it can join the Linux
community successfully instead of attacking it all
the time. Lying to the public about NT while secretly
using some Linux internally isn't exactly above board
either.
