You pay taxes willingly. You assess the consequences and act according to
your will.

Oh, the threat of violence by the state is an act of coersion that removes
your free will? No shit.

It's not your money. The money is a means of exchange provided by the
people of this country (i.e. the government) to ease the trade of goods
and services. The goods themselves also belong to the people as products
of the land merely converted by the efforts of people from one state to
another, however, for the sake of managing scarcity the people use a
coercive police state to enforce property relations.

So you are also an anarchist?

I would probably call myself an anarchist, but I also agree with the
statement that in order to be an anarchist one must first be a socialist.
That is to say, in the same sense that we must be eternally vigilant to
retain our liberties in a society with coersion, we must be eternally
vigilant to retain our civilization in a society without a coercive state
(i.e. pull together to prevent the reign of the law of the jungle).

Credits to the poor are the very least (literally) that we can do to help
offset the gross injustices of state-enforced property relations.

I highly recommend reading up on the Nixon (yes, THAT Nixon) Negative
Income Tax plan. If you must retain capitalist ideals and a coercive
state (and you simply cannot have the former without the latter), a system
like that should be in place to help alleviate the suffering caused by the
necessary underemployment.

PS. I'd've sent this privately, but reply-to munging prevents that.
