I think we need to get away from filtering at the end user level. I 
don't mind doing challenge and response a couple of times. But I don't 
see it as a cure all.

I'd rather have a white list that is run collaboratively with a 
community I trust, like the PLUG. I mean, for the most part, if someone 
on this list is willing to put someone on an OK list I'm willing to 
accept that, at least provisionally.
