As much as I enjoy watching Beaverton twist in the wind and
(hopefully) approach bankruptcy, it would save them money to move away
from Windows.  IT guys having to do weekly diaper changes on all the
Wintendos gets costly quick.  Plus, if you want to upgrade to a newer
Windows OS, guess what?  You get to replace the hardware as well.  And
you can bet they're going to need to reinstall those machines more
times than WinXP allows per license.

They ditched the perfectly good Dynix system they had and all the
terminals for a slew of i386 machines.
