When your eyeballs are more than 40 years old 1280x1024 is _high_. I keep
my 19" CRT monitor resolution at 1024X968 so I can read most text without
reading glasses. Once upon a time I, too, could read maps and telephone
books without reading glasses. Of course, I was slimmer then, also. :-)
