Mike,

  I doubt that it's dependent on the distribution (which is RH 7.3 on this
box). I believe that the library name with the longest string is the "real"
file and all the shorter ones are symlinks. Here's what I have:

  So, I want to confirm that libcups.so.2 is the real file and
libcups.so.2.O should be a symlink, not an 800K file. Similarly with
libcupsimage.so.2.O. But, before I step on my toes and trip myself up I want
to confirm this.
