[PLUG] Linux IRC channel

On Freenode (irc.freenode.net) you can find #linpeople and #linux.
#linux gets pretty full, making it difficult to ask questions and get a
timely reply if any. #linpeople though seems geared toward linux support
as well, and has fewer people. One thing to keep in mind though is that
often times depending on the time of day, you may or may not get much
help. It also depends on the knowledge level of those logged in and
paying attention. Unfortunately it seems that a lot of people remain
logged in when not on their computers making it seem as though 100
people are on the channel and paying attention, though you don't get any
reply to questions. That can be really annoying especially on smaller,
more directly focused channels.
You also may find help on any of the numerous LUG channels as well.

Good luck!
