The only issue I see is hardware related:

CPU:  Athlons sometime require "noathlon" in the kernel parameters. 
This can also effect some drivers, alsa being one of them.

Video:  Something should work.

Once you get a login, merely running redhat-config-* should be enough to
fix the hardware differences.
