  I use the Kyocera combo cell phone/PalmPilot. For me, it's the ideal
solution. My fiancee uses a Handspring Visor Pro. We're each on our third
one (she wears 'em out, I just upgrade). Both of us use jpilot on the
desktop. It's a GUI, but you can always use plain, ol' pilot-link and do the
rest manually.

  The Handspring Visor Pro will associate the to-do list with the calendar
and will roll undone items to the next day. I use datebk5 on my PDA for the
same thing.

  There are certainly more modern models out there. For my business, I
really appreciate the combination of a cell phone and PDA. Every one of my
1,000+ numbers (work, cellular, home, etc.) is callable without having to
manually enter them into the cell phone. Regardless of which model you get
you'll soon become dependent on it.
