He's just plain confused.  It's nothing like The Cat In The Hat and much
more like Gilbert and Sullivan.  The cadence is nothing like Seuss.  And I
still contend that it was at least unconsciously written to the tune of
Turkey In The Straw.

Just because the author thinks its in a particular style doesn't make it
so.
