Betcha the SCSI card's BIOS is leaving things in a state the system
BIOS can't handle.  You don't need the BIOS unless you plan to boot
from SCSI devices, so try disabling it in the SCSI BIOS setup.  And
yes, you'll still be able to hit Ctrl-A and re-enable it later; the
setup prompt still comes up even if you "disable" BIOS.

If this is the case, try other versions of the MB and SCSI BIOS.
Or just leave the BIOS disabled.  As you please.
