There's a problem with the MIME-conversion going from Mailman into NNTP
or within slrn; the '=3D' is actually an escaped equals; the '=0D' is
actually a literal newline character (CTRL-V Enter lets you insert it). 
Vim lets you use '<cr>' instead of having to insert a literal control
character.
