That is how I accomplished things, as well.  I also set up some
scripting so when I forward email to 'spam' it is piped through a perl
script to extract the embedded RFC/822 (or was it 882?  I forget)
forward attachment, take that, pipe it through another perl script to
clean up the headers for sa-learn, then it gets piped through to
sa-learn.

I also used to check the quarantined spam for any ham, then manually
process all of them through sa-learn... but I've received about 4500
spams in the last week or so... making much too large a list to
effectively check by hand.  When I can't do an "ls spam*" in the
directory, you know it's too much spam.

Of those ~4500 spams, about four have gotten through to my inbox.  :-(
