'tis a bummer... but something you must live with in binary
distributions; dependencies.  libssl - openssl.  Your ftp daemon is
linked against openssl, but the library isn't there.

Check your SSL install.

Also, have you thought about using scp instead of ftp?  It's *so* much
easier!  And secure. :-)
