  Excellent knowledge that will certainly be useful one day. Unfortunately,
that's not today. Still see "no route to host" because the network right now
is just my notebook and the WAP. But, ...

  Rats! I just hooked the WAP to the wired network and the notebook to its
normal cable. 'ping' responds "Destination Host Unreachable". 'links' shows:
	Error loading http://192.169.1.1:
	No route to host.

  It must be me because this should not be such a major production.
