[PLUG] Resetting hostname and IP address

Rich,
There is no need to worry about setting up a gateway in the route table
since the 2 systems are on the same subnet.
Al that should be required is that the interface be set to a compatible IP
address.
This looks like it has been done below.
The default (0.0.0.0) gateway you put in shouldn't cause a problem though.
Are you sure about the IP address of the WiFi device?
