You should see it from a distance... you've got an impressive group there
in Oregon.  I've been sampling a few other LUGs, and they all have
different "heads" if you know what I mean. I like PLUG; even the wingnuts
are amusing. In Boulder, we have BLUG, and I've been following that list
too, but they're either dead quiet or way over my head. Tonight they're
debating the ins and outs of wiring the home for ethernet, cat5/6 vs wifi,
WEP security and wardrivers and stuff that's as far out of my mental reach
as the Mars Rover is from my physical grasp.

At least when PLUG goes off on a tangent (like the current pistol-packin'
penguins thread) I can usually follow what's going on. Guns are easy; just
point and click. I could put a bullet through my elderly ethernet card
(and put us both out of our misery) a lot easier than learning how to make
it work with FC2, but why take the easy way out?
