[PLUG] xpdf and missing fonts

  On my Slackware-9.1 notebook xpdf sometimes cannot find the appropriate
fonts to display a document. I've not before encountered this problem on my
other systems. Perhaps I don't have enough fonts loaded on the new machine.

  Has anyone else encountered this? I see messages such as "cannot create
freetype for ..." or "cannot find ... font".
