[PLUG] Swap usage keeps increasing

Mine's routinely between the current size and the size of his.  These
don't seem like strange sizes to me at all.  I'm running at 1024x768 @
24bpp with GL.

Hm, apparently all the gnome-terminals I have open are one process,
threads I guess.  I just opened approximately 20+ terminals and the RSS
only grew to 25M.
