Tapal raping commander Tucker is close enough, if you really must
know. The way the Abu Gharaib prison scandal has been reported
has been insensitive. One minute you're watching to find out what a
public official is saying when, without warning, pictures are shown.

If any of these prisoners are innocent, think just how cruel showing
those pictures is. I think everyone knows that that is hard on a
muslim prisoner. The sad thing about the whole
scandal is, it only takes one unit in the military for a scandal this size
to hit the news. It says to me that the news is looking for something
wrong instead of reporting the large number of good things that are
happening. You can't predict deriliction of duty in the ranks.
It's ultimately the commander in the field and sometimes a
private that need to be responsible. I was ordered to do it is never
a valid excuse, for a military that has a code of honor.

In all likelihood, this probably happened in World War II and other
wars that people are so nostalgic about also. Today, it's reported
differently.

Like you just about every time I post something on here? I think that's
called a hypocrite.
Oh I'm sorry, you're the guy who can't get in any person's way even if
it means letting
him/her take your car, your money, etc. Maybe some people have
principles that they
follow, but you don't have to take my word for it. I suppose it is
strange to worry about
alcoloholics and other substance abusers. It's against my values to see
certain acts that
I consider private. It's also against my values to turn my back on my
own beliefs when
it comes to setting a good example. Too many liberals dominate the
public ear and
have gained power because noone wants to balance them with the
alternative, life lived
based on sound value systems.
