take down an iBook? Anyone? This has happened twice to a Unix based
iBook running Mac OS-X Panther. The iBook is supposed to be highly
resistant to exploit. Whoever did this managed to walk right
on by the ipfw firewall. This is the newest MacOS-X on the market,
so it is highly disturbing that it was exploited so quickly and
that this machine has been hacked not once, but twice now.

How could this have been done without tripping any anti viral scanners?
The person doing this managed to mount NFS shares with a strong ipfw
ruleset in place.

Do iBooks have hidden default passwords that need to be changed?

How do you clean an iBook up?
