[PLUG] KVM switch recommendations?

I've used most of those models listed below with similar results.
The only input I can add is that some may be better suited to your usage
than others.
We use Avocent boxes here only because we have multiple racks of servers
and desktops that need integrated into multiple viewing and management
spots. These use RJ45 Cat5 cabling and are active at boot time. They
have management and security features built into them with password
protection. For a long time before we went to this scale of use we used
the cybex. Before that it was the Black Box and Rose KVM's.
Only technical issue to look out for is to stay away from Mechanical
switches in your kvm. The switches will wear out much faster than
digital or simple push button switches. We dumped many of our early
kvm's because of that.

Paul,
So, for the Belkin brand it's tied at 1-1. Don't know if models make a
difference; they do on some hardware.
