I've kicked myself for ages for not saving my old WP/DOS floppies. For 
writing/editing, I've never experienced its equal: fast, flexible, 
powerful.

I liked, and used heavily, WP/Windows -- but WP/DOS (4.x though 5.x 
and up to 6.x) got me through graduate school and the first couple 
years of my professional career. Nothing really replaced it, IMO. I 
probably still have my license file around... :-)
