I did plenty of research when I purchased my Toshiba and they were 
solid.  My model is older now (PCX 2000) and I have not had to restart 
it once in the years I've had it.  Sure, some brands or models may have 
a reputation of being problematic.  But surely more than one brand out 
there isn't.
