Those were all caused by '^From ' lines in the messages that were not escaped,
as a result of importing them from the old version of Mailman.  I did a
little work with sed and got it down to three messages, then I discovered
'cleanarch' in the Mailman distribution, which was made to do just that.
Now after having run that and after 93 minutes of re-building the archives,
the remaining three are gone.
