In my nearly-humble opinion, Fedora is good if you are a seasoned Red Hat 
admin and don't mind working around the broken bits. Because Fedora always 
has broken bits.

Have you looked at any of the RHEL derivatives? Quite a number of folks are 
grabbing the RHEL SRPMs and rolling their own RHEL clones:
