Use TightVNC.
It works on windows and linux and also has an applet that runs through any
web
Browser.
This lets you VNC into it from any web browser anywhere.

Subject: [PLUG] VPN Server Information needed - Open VPN ?
I'm looking for a "VPN server" for my work situation. Here's my wish list:
Prefer open source solution.
Conect to and from both Linux and Windows computers.
Easy to use by end users.
This means minimal set up issues by Windows end users trying to connect
from home to work.
Works through most peoples "firewall/routers" at home.
Authentication against Windows active directory would be great.
I could live with a comercial appliance, but don't want to pay extra per
client.
I've seen some canned (netgear) "firewall/routers" that have built in VPN
but they appear to be optomized for a client that you have to pay a license
fee for every client machine.
While open vpn (http://openvpn.net) doesn't seem to meet all the list
above, it looks interesting. Any body have any experience with it? Any other
products/projects come to mind?
Thanks in advance for your help
